The background behind Glitter Princess

I’ve been a Foster Carer for 13 years and as the children, mine included, have all started to grow up and move on,i decided i needed something else to do.

In December 2008,i came across the business Glitter Princess and after discussions with my husband and the rest of my family, i decided to buy Glitter Princess in January 2009 and take the chance of moving it to Essex, as Glitter Princess was originally based in Weymouth.

We all felt the business was a great idea, i can remember lots of times, as the children have been growing up that i have been looking for dresses, costumes and party accessories and have never been able to find them all in one place.

As the business was growing slowly, we had to take the decision to either sell the business again or spend more money and take the chance on opening a shop.

As we all still very much believed in Glitter Princess and felt people needed to see the quality and design of the dresses and costumes first hand, we took the chance and opened our shop at the Clacton Factory Outlet.

Also as the shop was in an Outlet Centre we had to make the huge decision of lower our prices.

We've had lots of comments from people who have visited the shop regarding the design, quality, prices and the fact that they can purchase all their party accessories in one place, which is great to hear!

The greatest comments for us have been from the children and the great WOWS!!! when they enter the shop........

......so we feel we have made the right decision!

......and we hope you will all agree!

    The company statement still remains the same......

           We believe all girls are Princesses at heart!

......and when you buy from Glitter Princess you do not have to be royalty to look like a Princess-this is reflected in our prices! 

Glitter Princess is growing all the time and can only continue to do so with our customers help!
